Useful to know:

1.Your body and the piano
a.your body does not lie
b.by moving smoothly you will improve your flexibility
c.blocking your breathing will have a direct negative effect on your finger agility
d.your every movement anticipates a next one; be aware of this

2.Stress and the piano
a.stress leads to increased muscle tension; increased muscle tension lessons contact with the keys (toucher!)
b.stress blocks the learning process
c.accompanying without enough preparation; practicing in a hurry; your own ambition or the ambition of others projected onto you: all things which will lead to stress
d.an upheaval in your private life will block your concentration and increase your muscle tension; take your time to deal with the issue, even it is inconvenient

3.Knowing yourself and the piano
a.refusing to recognize (your own) weak points technically speaking, will weaken your strong points
b.acceptance of and feeling comfortable with your limitations will increase your possibilities
c.good planning will result in a feeling of calm and improves your powers of concentration
d.variety is the spice of life! Don’t practice for too long at a time and incorporate variety.
